A Manchester hair studio built on hair that behaves
Touch of Yetty sells raw hair and fits it. That combination is the whole point – we only stock units we are willing to put on somebody’s head ourselves, because we are the ones who have to make them sit right.
Our story
It started with one bad install
Yetty started doing hair because she kept paying for installs that lifted within a fortnight. She learned to do her own properly, then friends started asking, then their friends did, and eventually there were more people in the diary than there were evenings in the week.
The studio on Great Cheetham Street came next, and the hair came after that – because clients kept turning up with units that were never going to sit well no matter who fitted them. Stocking hair we already trusted was the only way to stop having that conversation.
Today it is installs, wig making, colour and bridal, plus an academy for stylists who want to learn it properly rather than from a video. Same studio, same hands, appointments only.

What we stand for
How we work
Four things we do not bend on, whether you are spending sixty five pounds on a ponytail or booking a full bridal party.
We fit what we sell
Every unit in the shop is one we install ourselves. If it sheds, lifts or will not take colour, we find out before you do and it does not get stocked.
One client at a time
Appointments only, and never double booked. The slot you pay for is the slot you get, start to finish, with nobody waiting in the chair behind you.
We will tell you no
If the length you want will not hold, or the colour will wreck the hair, we say so before we start rather than take the money and hand you a problem.
We teach what we know
The academy exists because good technique should not be a secret. Stylists we have trained are working across Manchester, and that is the point.
