Touch of Yetty Limited is the data controller for information collected through this site. You can contact us through the contact page about anything on this page.
What we collect
When you order or book: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and order history. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
When you contact us: whatever you put in the message, so we can answer it.
For colour services we may record relevant allergy and patch test information, because we need it to work safely.
Why we use it
To fulfil your order or appointment, to answer your messages, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and – only if you have opted in – to send you marketing.
Marketing
We only email marketing to people who asked for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link and we act on it immediately.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers who make the service work: our payment processor, our delivery couriers, our email provider and our hosting company. We do not sell your data to anybody.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years because tax law requires it. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Enquiry messages are deleted once the matter is closed.
Cookies
We use cookies needed to run the basket and checkout, and analytics cookies to see which pages people find useful. You can refuse the analytics ones without breaking the site.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
This policy is written in plain English rather than legalese. It does not affect your statutory rights.
